Other Devices / What devices should be added to CHAOS Next?
« on: September 03, 2014, 06:06:55 pm »
Hi All,

We're trying to get an idea of which are the most important devices/systems that we should integrate with the CHAOS App Store.

Essentially, integration means that any devices that we can detect in the home for a particular type of system, can be sensed and controlled as part of all CHAOS apps.

So we want to know what you think. What devices/systems will bring the most value to everyone. Please mention below if you want anything added to the list.

Other Devices / Other Devices Board
« on: September 03, 2014, 05:39:07 pm »
This board is the place to go if you want to talk about:
  • Talking about devices that work with the CHAOS App Runner that aren't covered in other boards.
  • Discussing and drumming support for the addition of devices which are not already part of the CHAOS system.

Vera Control Hub / Vera Control Hub Discussion
« on: September 03, 2014, 05:34:40 pm »
This board is the place to talk about how well the CHAOS App Runner works with the Vera Control home automation hub.

It's equally useful to hear about things which do work and things which don't work so that we can make sure everything works consistently for everyone.

App Development / App Development Discussion Board
« on: September 03, 2014, 05:28:04 pm »
Hey all,

This board is dedicated to:
  • Chatting, brainstorming and collaborating on developing smart home app ideas into real apps.
  • Suggesting app ideas that you'd like to see created, maybe someone will like the idea and turn it into a reality for you

So just hop in and let your creative juices flow. I'm sure we can unlock some amazing potential in our smart homes.

General Discussion / Welcome

Welcome to the CHAOS App Store forums.

This General Discussion board is where you can post any topics that interest you around home automation, smart homes, energy saving, security, convenience, assisted living, AV systems, etc...

We won't lecture you on the merits of behaving well and treating each other with respect. We're all adults here. Let's all just play nice. Like adults.

Hi All,

As some of you may know, we are just about to release our CHAOS App Runner software, which is a preview of our smart home app-running functionality which will ultimately run from the cloud. We are running a beta trial before the full release to allow users to get a preview of what we're developing and generally make sure our release is ready for use by real people.

At present the software fully works alongside the Vera Control home automation hub. You just have to install it on a Windows computer in your home and then you can use the CHAOS Manager Android app to easily install apps to automate your home.

If you have a Vera Control hub and you'd like to try this software, please leave a quick message on this board, or send a direct-message to myself or Ross and we will add you to the private beta board, where you can download and try the software. It's free and extremely easy to setup, and we'd love to hear what you think.
